Interventional Radiology RN Job in Bismarck, ND

You will work as an RN in Interventional Radiology at CHI St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center. This 91-day travel assignment begins June 29, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $2,312.64 on a 2x10-hour day shift schedule.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support interventional radiology with 2 labs performing 5–10 cases per day on average
• Manage conscious sedation with clinical autonomy, including charting and patient monitoring
• Circulate cases and provide pre- and post-IR care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergent procedures
• Handle stroke thrombectomy, embolizations, line placements, tube insertions, visceral procedures, biopsies, drain insertions, and chest tubes
• Work with CT and ultrasound areas as needed
• Float to radiology pre- and post-procedure areas when required
• Manage moderate sedation cases with required experience

Shift Details

• 2x10-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (or flexible to 2x8-hour or all 8-hour options)
• Every third weekend on-call with 30-minute response time
• 1–2 weeknight call days per week
• Every other holiday call requirement
• Team scheduling posted 17 days in advance for 6-week blocks

Requirements and Credentials

• Current RN licensure
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Radiation badge must be in hand prior to start date
• Residency requirement: must live more than 50 miles from facility

Facility Resources

• One-week orientation including classroom and lab training
• Scrubs provided by facility
• EPIC charting system, Philips Xper (Hemo), and Siemens C-Arm equipment
