RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on rotating days of the week
• Included in call rotation: one call weekend every 3rd weekend and 2 nights per week
• Cath lab experience required, including STEMI and vascular experience
• Device experience required with Impella and IABP
• Experience with complex IV drips such as vasopressors required
• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Consult with appropriate resources regarding patients with complex care issues and high-risk discharge planning
• Collaborate with patients and families to prepare and update plans of care
• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
• Communicate relevant information to promote continuity of care
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions regarding evaluation of patient care
• Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment for all
