ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Job Details:

• Work in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient health, analyze assessment data, and develop individualized plans of care
• Implement identified plans of care and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
• Evaluate nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards, guidelines, statutes, rules, and regulations
• Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into all areas of practice
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Position may require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
• On-call work may be required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Required certifications: NIH Stroke Scale Certification, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS
• Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure required
• Traveler must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
