CT Technologist Job in San Angelo, TX

Shannon Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a 182-day travel assignment in San Angelo, Texas. You will work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights on a 3x12 schedule with no call requirements.

About the Role

As a CT Technologist, you will perform CT imaging across all patient populations, from neonates through geriatrics. Your responsibilities include a wide range of CT procedures:

• Abdominal, chest, head, and pelvic imaging with and without contrast
• Coronary and vascular CTA studies
• CT arthrography and carotid imaging
• Cervical, lumbar, and thoracic spine imaging
• Soft tissue neck, sinus, and musculoskeletal trauma studies

You will prepare and administer contrast media, perform venipuncture, and operate multiple scanner platforms including Carestream, Canon, Philips, and Shimadzu equipment. You will work across emergency department, adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings while maintaining isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree with graduation from an accredited Rad Tech program
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Current ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), BLS, and TMB MRT certifications
• Active Texas state RT license (must be in-hand at time of submission)
• Experience with Epic charting system

Preferred Qualifications

Travel healthcare experience is highly preferred.

Assignment Details

Start date: September 13, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,503. This is a 182-day assignment.
