Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Kansas City, MO

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting May 4, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $3,168.

Schedule and Commitment

• 4x10 day shifts
• Call responsibilities up to 50% of the contract

Experience and Credentials

You'll need current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA certifications only; RQI is not accepted). Pediatric cardiac catheterization and/or pediatric electrophysiology lab experience is preferred, but you'll be considered without pediatric experience. You must hold both Missouri (or compact state) and Kansas nursing licenses. If you have only a Kansas license, you may start with documentation showing your Missouri license application has been submitted.

Facility Details and Responsibilities

You'll work in a smoke-free environment and may float between the main facility and a sister hospital in Overland Park, KS, approximately 12 miles southwest. During your first week, you'll complete a required medication and dosage test that you must pass with a 100% score. You'll be given three attempts to achieve this passing score.
