Medical Lab Technician Job in Philadelphia, PA

Temple Health - Women and Families Campus is seeking a Medical Lab Technician for a 90-day travel assignment in Philadelphia, PA. This is a night shift position working 4x10 hours per week at $2,383 weekly pay.

About the Role

You will perform a wide variety of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods. Your responsibilities include exercising considerable independent judgment regarding the performance and reporting of laboratory results, and actively participating in quality improvement activities within the laboratory. You'll work in a CLIA-certified laboratory environment, supporting critical diagnostic services.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits required, or Military Training Program equivalent
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Experience in a CLIA laboratory required
• 1 year of experience in a relevant laboratory section preferred
• ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification preferred
