Interventional Radiology Technologist

Allied - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Rapid response assignment for 6 weeks at 48 hours per week
• Shift hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month with possible holiday coverage
• Patient ratio of 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN
• Work in 5 Interventional Radiology suites equipped with 4 Siemens Bi-planes and 1 Siemens Single plane
• EMR systems used: Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
• Perform procedures including Neuro Interventional (Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH, DVST) and Level 1 Trauma procedures (GIB, EMBOs, Gastronomy Tubes, Nephrostomy)
• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital IR Tech experience required
• Neuro interventional experience strongly preferred (Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH)
• Expert knowledge of Vascular Interventional Radiology procedures with minimal guidance preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS must be provided in submission packet
• Must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced interventional lab and team environment
