Job Details:

• Must have Ohio RRT license in hand to submit
• Must obtain NRP certification prior to start date
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Ohio RRT
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• High risk experience preferred, but open to on-site training if no experience
• Must be comfortable with all ages including pediatrics and adult populations
• Floating required as needed within Metro Region between Toledo, Flower, and Bay Park Hospitals
• Mid-shift floating may be required to ensure guaranteed hours are worked
• Weekend coverage required
• 36 hours of orientation
• Grey scrubs required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Work with 700 bed facility including 7 adult ICUs with 16 beds each
• Treat patients with asthma, COPD, emphysema, pneumonia, and non-pulmonary diagnoses
• Perform medication delivery, bronchopulmonary hygiene, ventilation management, airway management
• Respond to rapid responses and emergency codes, perform CPR
• Blood gas sampling and analysis, specimen collection
• Equipment experience with Servo I, Avea, Bella Vista ventilators
• Assist in high risk deliveries
• Responsible for changing tubing and bags for invasive lines at Toledo and Bay Park campuses
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• No local travelers within 50 miles
