Job Details:

• Work in the Main Emergency Department and Pediatric Behavioral Emergency Department (PBED)
• 37-bed Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department
• Patient ratio of 1:4 in zone
• Day and night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 Techs/Paramedics, 5 mid-shift RNs, and 2 mid-shift techs
• 4 weekend shifts required within every 4-week period
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float area includes holding admitted ED patients within the ED
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• EMR system: MediTech experience preferred
• Equipment used: GE Monitors
• Dress code: Royal blue scrub top and bottom required
• High caliber patient experience skills required
• High energy, self-motivated, and amicable personality a strong fit for this unit
• Time off requests cannot be approved from mid-June through mid-July
