CVICU RN Job in Philadelphia, PA

Join Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026, offering you the opportunity to deliver specialized cardiac care in a dynamic acute-care environment.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12 rotating shifts (Day: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM; Night: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM)
• Rotation pattern may include day shift one week and night shift the next, or a mix of both within the same week
• Every 3rd weekend required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• One holiday shift required per assignment
• No on-call duties
• Weekly pay: $2,606

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active PA or compact nursing license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with CRRT/CVVHD, hemodynamic monitoring, IABPs, and Impellas
• Experience caring for post-operative cardiac surgery patients (CABG/valve procedures)
• Competency with Epic electronic health record system

Clinical Environment

• Patient ratio: 2–3 patients per RN
• Care for adult and geriatric populations
• May float to any Adult ICU or Telemetry unit during low CVICU census with appropriate assignment
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
