RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts with 1:2 patient ratios
• Weekend coverage required (every other weekend)
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Must have 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Associate degree in Nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required
• Must wear green scrubs
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Floating to other qualified units may be required based on census needs
• Care for post-sternotomy patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair, and aortic dissection
• Manage patients with cardiothoracic procedures including carotid endarterectomy, lobectomy, and mediastinoscopy
• Work with advanced cardiac devices including CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella, Centrimag, VAD, and PA catheters
• Must be located more than 100 miles from facility or meet specific distance requirements based on specialty
