RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours per week for 8/10-hour shifts
• On-call required approximately 9 shifts in a 5-week period
• Float within scope to meet facility needs required
• 18 months of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience in EP and Vascular preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS must be active at time of submittal; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start
• First-time travelers accepted
• Charting system experience required; EPIC charting system used at facility
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Skills required include: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Interventional Catheterizations, Left Heart Catheterization, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring, Right Heart Catheterization, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, and Monitoring Procedural Sedation
• EKG and Pharmacology test required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each; study materials will be provided
• Non-billable modules averaging 6-15 hours must be completed prior to start and annually; recorded via SilkRoad
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of presentation; no additional time off requests will be reviewed after submission
• Nicotine-free facility; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
