Respiratory Therapist Job in Columbus, NE

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Respiratory Therapist for a 90-day travel assignment at Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, NE. You will work the night shift, 3 days per week at 12 hours per shift, earning $2,264.40 weekly.

About the Role

You will provide respiratory care across all age groups in a community hospital setting. Your responsibilities include managing aerosols, performing EKG monitoring, administering NPPV and CPAP therapy, operating ventilators, responding to Code Blue events and Rapid Response Team activations, and monitoring Holter devices. You must be independent, comfortable working with limited staff availability, and prepared to handle trauma cases.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current RRT or CRT credential from NBRC
• Current ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS certifications
• NICU/ER and trauma care experience required

Additional Requirements

You will need to complete a respiratory fit test for 3M N95 or 1860 masks (available on your first day for $26). If you do not already hold CPI or MOAB certification, you must complete this training, offered on site the second Tuesday of each month for $150. You are required to use the badge in/out time tracking system.
