Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Pikesville, MD

Join MedStar Health Physical Therapy in Pikesville as an outpatient Physical Therapist. This 91-day travel assignment runs Monday through Friday with alternating start times to support clinic operations across different patient volumes.

Schedule & Responsibilities

• Work 5x8 day shifts with rotating start times: Monday and Wednesday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Treat approximately 11 patients per day
• Manage patient ratios of 3 during peak days and 2 during lighter days
• Provide care across age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Focus on general orthopedic conditions in an outpatient clinic setting

Requirements

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist License
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Previous charge experience required
• Completed at least 1 travel assignment or 1 month of per diem work
• Two supervisory references, including one from your most recent assignment
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• No RTO (Return to Origin) time permitted during the first two weeks

Compensation & Timeline

Weekly pay is $2,161.44. Assignment begins June 22, 2026.
