Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Charlotte, NC

You'll work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Novant Health Heart & Vascular Institute - Elizabeth Adult Cardiology, serving adult and geriatric patient populations in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting.

Schedule & Hours

• 4x10 day shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No call, float, or weekend requirements
• 13-week contract

Your Responsibilities

• Perform cardiology studies including rest/stress testing and Amyloid (PYP) studies
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4 with average daily census of 10–12 patients
• Execute exercise/rest-multiple, exercise/rest-single, and pharmacological stress procedures
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs
• Properly store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials
• Operate hot lab equipment, dose calibrator, well counter, and two Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT cameras
• Document in the EPIC system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT(N) or CNMT certification
• Proficiency in adult and nuclear cardiology procedures
• EPIC system experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• Outpatient clinic experience

Additional Information

• In-clinic orientation: 40 hours
• Scrubs not provided; royal blue preferred
• Scheduling based on clinic needs

You'll be part of a cardiology-focused team in a structured outpatient environment with predictable hours and no on-call obligations.
