CT Technologist Job in San Angelo, TX

Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas is seeking a CT Technologist for a 182-day travel assignment. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with no on-call requirements.

About the Role

You will perform CT imaging across all patient populations—neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Your responsibilities include:

• Abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, soft tissue neck, and sinus CT scans with and without contrast
• Vascular CTA, coronary CTA, carotid, and CT arthrography procedures
• Musculoskeletal trauma imaging and emergency department CT scans
• Preparation and administration of contrast media and venipuncture
• Region of interest (ROI) measurements
• Operation of Carestream, Canon, Philips, and Shimadzu CT equipment
• Isolation precautions and appropriate PPE application

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Active state license at time of submission
• Current certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), BLS, and TMB MRT
• Minimum one year of clinical experience
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Residence beyond 110-mile local radius to qualify

Compensation

This position offers $2,515 per week. Assignment begins November 16, 2026.
