ICU RN Job in Austell, GA

You will work as an RN in the Intensive Care Unit at Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. This is a 91-day travel nursing assignment with 3x12 night shifts, working 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Your weekly pay is $1,864.80, with a start date of June 5, 2026.

Your Role

You will deliver direct patient care in a critical care environment, performing the comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics and coordinate safe, quality patient care delivery with accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and bedside shift reporting
• Maintain timely documentation and a professional clinical environment
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and research utilization
• Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments
• Serve as preceptor or mentor for other healthcare professionals and students

Requirements

• Current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS required within 180 days)
• Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
