Special Procedures Technologist Job in West Columbia, SC

Lexington Medical Center is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for our Interventional Radiology department in West Columbia, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5x8 shifts, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities required, including some weekends
• Float to hybrid OR as needed
• Weekly pay: $3,168

Clinical Responsibilities

You will work with adult and geriatric patient populations, handling approximately 25 visits per day across 3 IR suites. You will perform a wide variety of cases including stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, fistulagram, arteriogram with intervention, venogram with intervention, dialysis access, venous access, Y90, chest port placement, nephrostomy tube placement, PTC, g tube placement, and TIPS.

Required Skills and Experience

• RT(R) certification and current BLS required
• Minimum 1 year experience in general radiology
• 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Competency with Philips and Siemens equipment platforms
• Competency with ultrasound for arterial and venous access
• Scrub skills required
• VI credential preferred but not required
