<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday with variable days off<br>• On-call requirements include 2-3 calls per week and at least 1 weekend per month (24 hours Saturday and Sunday)<br>• Depending on staffing mix, may work up to 10 weekdays per month<br>• 40 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Work in cardiovascular operating room with 12 operating rooms and 2 CVOR rooms<br>• Handle cases for adults, adolescents, and geriatrics including general and neuro surgery<br>• Preferred experience with cardiovascular cases<br>• Required certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA strongly preferred<br>• Minimum 2 years of scrub experience required<br>• Travel experience required, no first-time travelers accepted<br>• Skills include CABG, mitral valve replacement, TAVR, carotid procedures, and hybrid OR experience<br>• 30-hour orientation period required<br>• Scrubs provided by facility<br>• Charting system: Cerner<br>• One pre-approved time off request allowed<br>• Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine and cotinine testing<br>• Must maintain aseptic technique, universal protocol, and sharps safety standards</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This acute care hospital features 178 staffed beds and operates a comprehensive cardiovascular surgical program. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and operates 12 operating rooms including specialized cardiovascular operating rooms.
