Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Cincinnati, OH

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the NICU team on a night shift schedule. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 21, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, including at least every other Sunday
• Friday and Saturday nights required for weekend coverage
• Holiday coverage required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators including Servo, Trilogy, LTV, and Oscillator models
• Provide high-flow and non-invasive respiratory support
• Administer nitric oxide therapy
• Perform airway clearance techniques including IPV, Vest, and Cough Assist
• Operate Metaneb equipment
• Support neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient populations
• May float within the hospital, including potential assignments to Liberty campus

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric respiratory therapy
• Valid Ohio single state or multi-state respiratory therapist license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Epic charting experience preferred

Scheduling Notes

• Time off requests must be submitted at time of submission, maximum 5 days per assignment period
• No block scheduling requests unless for weekends only (Friday through Sunday)

Weekly compensation is $2,332.80. This assignment offers you the opportunity to work in a specialized pediatric respiratory setting while contributing to a leading children's hospital.
