PCU RN Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as an RN in the Progressive Care Unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of March 9, 2026.

Shift and Pay

• 3 nights per week, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• $2,102.40 per week

Your Role

You will provide intermediate-level care for patients requiring closer monitoring than those in medical-surgical units. Your assignment begins with a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor.

Facility Policies

• Dress code: wear all navy, all white, or a combination of navy and white scrubs
• Tobacco-free campus: no tobacco use in buildings, entrances, properties, or personal vehicles parked on hospital grounds
• Timekeeping: use the Kronos system with specific clock-in codes from designated phones

Kronos Clock-In Codes

• Code 1: clock in for regular shifts
• Code 9: clock out for regular shifts
• Code 62: clock in for callback shifts (2nd, 3rd, etc. return)
• Code 64: clock in for other productive time such as orientation, meetings, or education
• Code 66: clock in for charge shifts
• Code 3: clock out for lunch
• Code 4: clock back in from lunch

Travel Support

Mileage reimbursement is available based on distance: $30 for 30+ miles, $40 for 50+ miles, and $80 for 100+ miles.
