Med Surg RN Job in Greeley, CO

You'll work as an RN on the Medical-Surgical unit at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado. This is a 3x12 day shift position with an 89-week duration, starting September 28, 2026. You'll earn $2,295 per week.

Your role includes comprehensive patient care across medical, oncology, and telemetry med-surg populations. You will assess patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs and discharge planning requirements. You'll formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific assessment data and the medical plan of care.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and coordinate health care team activities
• Read telemetry strips and monitor cardiac patients
• Delegate and supervise health care team members as appropriate
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives
• Contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes
• Precept and mentor staff members as appropriate

Schedule and support:

You'll work a varied schedule with every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation. You may be required to float to support the Loveland Campus or BFC as needed.

Physical requirements:

You must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. You may be required to lift up to 75 pounds. You'll use standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.

Required qualifications:

• Valid Colorado RN license with CO CAPS clearance
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months

A bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred.
