<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ED</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work varied schedule in emergency department setting<br>• Required certifications: TNCC, NIH, BLS<br>• Must possess current, valid RN license in state of practice<br>• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required<br>• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in specialty area<br>• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs<br>• Formulate and implement comprehensive nursing care plans utilizing assessment data and patient/family input<br>• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities<br>• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records accurately and timely<br>• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed<br>• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and possess physical agility for emergency response situations<br>• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, fine motor skills, and eye-hand coordination<br>• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids<br>• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently in fast-paced environment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing emergency services and acute care to the community.
