Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour day shifts weekly from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, with one shift assigned daily from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities include approximately 1 weeknight call every 2 weeks and 1 weekend call every 6 weeks (Friday night plus 24-hour call Saturday and Sunday)
• Must be within a 30-minute response time for on-call shifts
• Staff two IR departments: Jones 5 (3 IR suites) and Buck 5 (2 IR suites - Biopsy, CT-Guided), with potential float to Admitting Recovery department
• Average of 10 to 15 cases per day
• Circulate IR cases and perform procedural sedation; nurses monitor and sedate patients rather than scrubbing procedures
• Perform pre and post admitting and recovery workflows for IR patients in the Buck 5 IR location
• Work alongside IR Techs who scrub each case; each case staffed with 1 RN and 2 Techs
• Support 3 service lines: IR Body, Vascular, and Neuro Intervention
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, neuro intervention (coiling, stents, embolizations), angiogram, vascular intervention, and tube checks and changes
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; IR procedural experience including moderate sedation required
• Travel experience highly preferred but not required
• Charting system: Epic
• Hospital periop/procedural scrubs provided daily upon arrival
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
