About this role

You will work as an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. in Richmond, KY. This is a 3x12 night shift position with an 89-day duration, starting June 29, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,713.28.

In this role, you will deliver patient-centered nursing care grounded in comprehensive assessment and clinical judgment. Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing thorough patient assessments and collecting objective and subjective data from patients, families, and clinical sources
  • Developing prioritized problem lists in collaboration with the inter-professional team
  • Designing culturally appropriate interventions and determining desired outcomes with patients and families
  • Implementing patient care therapies and procedures within your RN scope of practice and with clinical autonomy
  • Explaining procedures, treatments, and processes to patients and families in ways they understand
  • Recognizing and communicating changes in patient condition promptly and appropriately
  • Conducting ongoing assessments and documenting responses to therapies and procedures
  • Delegating tasks appropriately and overseeing team members in patient care activities
  • Monitoring the accuracy and completeness of delegated care
  • Identifying and addressing patient educational needs based on comprehension level
  • Facilitating the patient discharge process and coordinating with Case Management

You will also participate in unit-based quality improvement activities, including patient satisfaction initiatives, fall prevention, and pressure ulcer prevention programs. Your practice will be evidence-based, guided by current research and professional standards, and informed by a holistic perspective on patient care delivery. You will support organizational values and priorities through active participation in unit activities.
