Med Surg RN Job in Birmingham, AL

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. This is a 13-week travel assignment offering three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Schedule and Hours

• Night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Alternating weekend schedule required
• Weekly pay: $1,813.32

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: July 7, 2026
• Travel assignment eligible for candidates with permanent address 50+ miles from facility

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification required
• Cerner EMR experience required

You'll provide patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to support patients recovering from surgery and managing acute medical conditions. Your experience with Cerner will help you integrate quickly into the unit's workflow.
