About this role

WVU United Hospital Center is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Bridgeport, WV. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM with scheduled weekends. No on-call, standby, or floating requirements apply to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a patient ratio of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on individual patient needs
  • Provide care for pulmonary patients, including those with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), central sleep apnea (CSA), obesity hypoventilation syndrome (OHS), COPD, oxygen-dependent conditions, cardiology patients, and those with REM behavior disorders
  • Operate NATUS sleep works and MPR home units
  • Work with CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV equipment
  • Complete patient charting in EPIC

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CPSGT or RPSGT
  • Current BLS certification
  • RPSGT certification via BRPT
  • RRT or CRT with SDS certification via NBRC
  • Minimum 2 to 3 successful travel assignments with no canceled contracts
  • Evaluation scores of 3.5 to 4.0

Compensation & Details

  • Weekly pay: $2,070
  • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
