RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 3x12 shift schedule
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend coverage required as directed by operational needs
• Float required to Telemetry and Medical Surgical units as needed (these units have 1:5/1:6 ratios)
• No call shifts required
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Caribbean blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)
• Provide bedside monitoring for up to 8 patients
• Work with cardiac monitoring, ultrasound IV, and lift equipment
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, COPD/asthma, sepsis, pneumothorax, ESRD/dialysis, hypertension/hypotension, ETOH withdrawal, and general surgery patients
• Perform special procedures including chest tubes, PCA infusions, bedside monitoring, non-titratable drips, and IV infusions
• 24-hour orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
