Physical Therapist Job in Washington, MO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at Mercy Hospital Washington in Washington, MO. This is a day shift position with a 5x8 schedule, offering 36 guaranteed hours per week at $2,482 weekly pay. Your assignment begins May 4, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide primary outpatient physical therapy coverage during weekdays, with the flexibility to support inpatient services during downtime. You will also participate in a monthly weekend rotation, working either Saturday or Sunday as scheduled. On-call availability is required as part of your responsibilities.

Requirements and Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of physical therapy experience
• Demonstrated outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Experience working with neuro and spine patients required
• Inpatient experience preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to float to inpatient services as needed

What to Expect

Your primary focus will be delivering outpatient therapy services throughout the week. During slower periods, you will assist with inpatient coverage to support continuity of care. The monthly weekend rotation ensures adequate staffing during high-demand periods. You must be prepared to adapt your schedule and transition between outpatient and inpatient settings as clinical needs arise.

Workplace Guidelines

Black scrubs are required for your dress code. You will work within a healthcare setting that uses EPIC for all electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
