Telemetry RN Job in Augusta, GA

Join Piedmont Augusta Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit. This 98-week travel assignment offers 3x12 night shifts at $1,918.08 weekly, beginning June 22, 2026.

Role Overview

You will care for adult and geriatric patients in a 36-bed telemetry unit with an average daily census of 35. Your patient ratio will be 1:4–5. Common diagnoses include CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension/hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage telemetry monitoring and cardiac care
• Administer cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration: milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin
• Perform blood product administration, central line care, IV management, and wound care
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Work every other weekend unless specified otherwise
• Work major holidays falling during your assignment period

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (NIH preferred)
• Minimum 2 years telemetry experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system, Pyxis, and SBAR communication
• Navy blue scrubs required

Assignment Details

You will receive 12 hours of orientation. No call requirements. Maximum 7 days RTO per contract. RTO blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4–12). Full compliance required to start on schedule.
