About this role
MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work 5x8 hour day shifts with start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM, and end times between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. There is no holiday coverage required and no on-call responsibilities. You may be required to work Saturdays twice per month if needed for PET/CT scans due to equipment issues or excessive backlog.
What You'll Do
- Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including PET scans, bone scans, cardiac imaging, renal studies, and whole body imaging
- Work with patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics
- Use the Epic charting system
- Operate Siemens equipment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Current BLS certification
- NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification
- NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) certification
- SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
- Experience with Siemens equipment
- You must provide your own radiation badge; the agency will supply it
Additional Details
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Dress code: Teal scrub top with black pants
- The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks under the guaranteed hours policy
- During hurricane season (June–November), you may be assigned to emergency response teams
- All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission
