Special Procedures Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking an Allied Health Professional Special Procedures Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with possible late shifts during the week. Weekly pay is $2,880.

Role Responsibilities

• Support endovascular procedures in a high-acuity hybrid OR environment
• Operate advanced imaging equipment including Zeego and Pheno systems
• Assist with complex vascular interventions including FEVAR, PMEG, EVAR, TEVAR, AAA/TAA procedures, angiograms, declots, lysis, stenting, embolization, and TAVRs
• Work independently and collaboratively under pressure
• Manage PACS systems and Siemens Portable C-Arm functions including digital subtraction, road mapping, and measurements
• Support hybrid Siemens imaging with advanced vascular troubleshooting
• Maintain familiarity with vascular supplies including balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, and sheaths

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hybrid OR settings
• Extensive endovascular experience required
• Greater than 1 year of Zeego and Pheno experience
• Experience with Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad equipment
• EPIC system experience
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications
• Prior travel healthcare experience

Schedule & Additional Details

• Flexible call schedule required with approximately 8 calls per month and rotation variations
• Holiday call may be required
• Facility may call off traveler for 1 shift per 2-week pay period
• During hurricane season (June–November), you may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Radiation badge provided by agency
• You will work with adult patients only
• No scrubbing required

You must work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and demonstrate strong independent judgment alongside collaborative teamwork skills.
