Registered Nurse - ER @ Northwest HealthCare

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour mid shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week working three 12-hour shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts
• Must be comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult populations
• Every third weekend requirement
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and PALS
• Special equipment experience with Glucostabilizer and Level 1 infuser required
• Navy scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Daily census of 120-160 patients with 25 rooms/beds
• Care for variety of conditions including abdominal pain, chest pain, stroke symptoms, and musculoskeletal injuries
• Skills include ventilated patient care, continuous IV sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, procedural sedation, and triage
• No floating required and no on-call responsibilities
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract
• Pediatric emergency department experience preferred
