CT Technologist Job in Roanoke, VA

You will work as a CT Technologist at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a weekly pay rate of $2,800.

Schedule and Expectations

• 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Start and end times may vary by +/- 2 hours based on unit needs with advance notice
• No on-call requirements
• One holiday per 13-week contract worked in rotation with permanent staff
• Possible float to Carilion Clinic Riverside location, approximately 0.5 miles away

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Verified travel healthcare experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications
• Valid Virginia state license or active out-of-state license with emergency authorization available
• Hands-on experience with Siemens CT equipment
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Demonstrated skill in contrast media preparation and administration
• Working knowledge of radiation safety protocols

Your Daily Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures including trauma, cardiac, vascular, and contrast studies
• Work with patient populations ranging from neonates to geriatric patients
• Execute advanced imaging techniques including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurements
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Adhere to all radiation safety and quality assurance standards
