Radiation Therapist Job in Morgantown, WV

WVU JW Ruby Memorial Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 30, 2026. You will work 5×8 hour day shifts with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

In this role, you will treat approximately 50+ patients daily across multiple linear accelerators, including 6–9 CT simulation patients. Your patient population will be mixed adult and pediatric, with minimal pediatric cases. You will perform advanced treatment modalities including IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT using state-of-the-art equipment.

Equipment and Technology

• Operate Varian TrueBeam and Varian Trilogy linear accelerators
• Utilize Siemens Somatom Go.Flow Open CT simulator
• Work with Varian ARIA Oncology Information System (required) and Epic (preferred)
• Chart in Epic

Work Environment

• Radiation Oncologists on-site
• Supervisor or Lead Tech present in department
• No IV starts required
• Gray scrub color

Requirements

• BLS Certification
• ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist (T)
• West Virginia state license

Compensation

You will receive $3,052.80 per week for this 91-day assignment. This position offers the stability of day shifts with no weekend or on-call obligations, allowing you to focus on patient care while maintaining work-life balance.
