Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with responsibilities to scrub and circulate
• Variable and rotating shifts based on need with start times of 7:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, or 1:00 PM
• On-call requirements of 3-4 times per month including rotating weekend call and holidays
• Minimum of at least 1 weekend on-call per month
• 30-minute report time required
• Scrubs provided
• No float required
• Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis to ensure unit coverage as part of the rotation pool
• Must have 4-5 years of OR RN or combined OR experience
• Circulate experience is required
• Must be experienced in circulating and the following surgeries: orthopedic, spine, and neuro (must perform independently)
• Scrub experience preferred but not required
• Must be versatile and willing to work other specialties as needed
• Active RN license required with copy of NURSYS
• Active CT RN license required upon start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
