Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a 34-bed medical/surgical unit with telemetry capabilities at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 6, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• $2,592 weekly pay
• Weekend coverage required: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
• Patient ratio: 1:5-7 patients

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Valid WV or Compact nursing license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Travel experience not required

What You'll Do

You'll provide direct patient care including telemetry monitoring, wound care, IV management, and medication administration. You'll care for patients with acute medical conditions and work alongside an interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

Onboarding and Systems

• 12-hour orientation provided
• Electronic medical record system: Cerner
• You'll complete approximately 8 hours of non-billable modules prior to your start date

• Attendance policy: the facility maintains a strict attendance standard and will tolerate only 2–3 call-offs per contract period
