PACU RN Job in Espanola, NM

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Presbyterian Health Services Inc in Espanola, NM. This is a night shift position, working 5 days per week on 8-hour shifts. The assignment runs for 88 weeks, beginning May 26, 2026. You will earn $2,152.66 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide direct patient care to your assigned group of patients during each shift
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required
• Initiate, utilize, and document appropriate protocols and standards of care
• Document all care according to facility policy
• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout the episode of care
• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population-specific, age-specific, procedure, and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards
• Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care

You will use the nursing process to deliver care in the post-anesthesia setting. Your role is to support patients through their recovery period and coordinate with the broader care team to ensure continuity and quality outcomes.
