<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• 13-week contract length<br>• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required<br>• Must be located outside a 50-mile radius of facility<br>• Previous travel experience required<br>• 3+ years of experience required, pediatric and NICU experience preferred<br>• Associate degree or certificate required<br>• Float to all patient care areas including ED and general care areas<br>• May be required to float to other Central locations with advance notice<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or ARC only), NBRC RRT or CRT (RRT must be obtained within one year), Advanced NRP preferred<br>• Active Wisconsin license required<br>• Work with V60 BIPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators, iSTAT, and document in Epic<br>• Provide basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, and patient assessment<br>• Respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue emergencies<br>• Care for patients of all age groups<br>• Dress code: closed-toed shoes, scrubs any color, clean appearance, no smoking or scent allowed<br>• Eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census time<br>• May be placed on-call during low census periods</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center providing respiratory therapy services across all patient care areas including emergency department and general care units.
