Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. This is a 119-day travel assignment beginning April 27, 2026, with 3x12-hour day shifts.

Schedule & Shift Details

• 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM
• Thursday-Saturday or Friday-Sunday rotation
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call responsibilities during low census periods
• Holiday rotation with permanent staff
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks

Clinical Responsibilities

• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Float assignments to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units
• Flexibility with changing assignments during shifts
• Work with MEDITECH charting system
• Floor-specific orientation provided

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• 2 years of Med Surg experience with 1 travel assignment, OR 4 years of experience without travel
• BSN not required
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• Must comply with 75-mile radius rule

Compensation & Assignment Details

You'll earn $2,102.40 per week. The interview process includes a Medical Solutions RN interview followed by client confirmation within 20 minutes.
