ICU RN Job in Lexington, KY

Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit in Lexington, KY. This is a 3x12 night shift position with an 89-day contract starting June 29, 2026. You will earn $2,344.32 weekly.

About the Role

You will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment, performing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans. Your responsibilities include nursing rounds, patient monitoring, treatments, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams. You will facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges while providing patient and family-centered education.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments within RN scope of practice
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Perform direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and nursing rounds
• Document all nursing activities according to hospital policies
• Delegate and oversee team members in patient care activities
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement activities and core measures
• Work 3-4 weekend shifts per month

You are an RN with strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-focused care. Experience in neurology is preferred.
