Occupational Therapist Job in Camarillo, CA

You will work as an Occupational Therapist at St Johns Hospital Camarillo, providing direct patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 27, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 5x8 day shifts: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday
• Weekend requirement: you must work either every Saturday or every Sunday
• Weekly pay: $2,394.40
• Holiday coverage required as part of permanent staff rotation (typically one major and one minor holiday)
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

Clinical Settings & Patient Populations

You will treat patients across inpatient and outpatient locations. Inpatient areas include general inpatient, rehabilitation, OR, and sub-acute units. Outpatient clinics are located at Hueme (20 minutes away) and Oxnard (nearby). Patient populations include orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, bariatric, ICU, cardiac, and lymphedema patients with diagnoses such as spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain injuries, orthopedic conditions, and general medical/surgical conditions.

Requirements & Credentials

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• BLS certification
• Swallow study experience preferred
