Respiratory Therapist Job in Tulsa, OK

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment at Yale Campus - Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a 3x12 day shift position with an 89-day duration, starting May 25, 2026. You will earn $2,264.40 per week.

Your Role

You will assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory care services across non-critical and critical care areas. Your responsibilities include:

• Provide mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive) while monitoring patient parameters
• Perform medication administration via nebulizer or metered dose inhaler
• Conduct humidity and aerosol therapy, medical gas administration, and incentive spirometry
• Assist with intubation, extubation, suctioning, and bronchoscopy procedures
• Respond to code blues, RIT/CRIT calls, and patient transports in a timely manner
• Complete computer entry, verify physician orders, and document clinical information
• Maintain ventilator equipment and monitor patient response to setting changes
• Provide chest physiotherapy, pulse oximetry, and respiratory mechanics assessments
• Mentor new personnel and participate in quality improvement projects

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
• Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) or temporary practice letter
• CRT/RRT credential through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• BLS certification from AHA required within 2 months of hire
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with general pediatric patients
• Critical care experience required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
