CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Must be willing to take call two weekends per month
• If a holiday falls on a scheduled workday, traveler will be expected to work
• 24 hours of orientation required
• 1 year of experience required
• NY license required in hand to submit
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS
• Must have skills in adult acute care, adult outpatient, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba equipment
• Perform CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head without and/or with contrast
• Handle isolation precautions/PPE protocols
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs
• Scan cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, and thoracic areas
• Work with patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Floating required within facility
• Scrubs provided or can wear personal preference
• Cannot have more than 1 week RTO in contract
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted
• Preferred experience with Philips equipment and procedures including drains and biopsies
