About this role

Tide Health Group – Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a long-term care setting in Worchester, MA. This is a temporary position running 91 days, starting August 24, 2026.

Position Details

  • Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
  • No on-call or weekend requirements
  • Weekly pay: $1,670.40

Qualifications Required

  • Active OTA license and Massachusetts state license
  • Minimum 1 year of OTA experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF)
  • New graduates considered with Level II fieldwork experience (Level I observation experience alone does not qualify)

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
  • Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions for patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders
  • Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments as needed
  • Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers regarding cognitive and physical disorders
  • Document all information in the electronic documentation system and maintain accurate patient records
  • Record treatment minutes for services provided in compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements
  • Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
  • Supervise and support students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist
  • Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards
