Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 3 days per week
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Float to other units based on need and skill set required
• Staffing ratio of 1:6 on nights
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Treat patients with diagnoses including Stroke/TIA, Seizure, Syncope, Pneumonia, Chest Pain, Dialysis, Acute Kidney Failure, Post Heart Cath, Respiratory Failure, Encephalopathy, CHF, and Sepsis
• Perform peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Work in a high-acuity med-surg environment with a strong focus on patient experience
• Utilize Omnicell medication system
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active Tennessee RN license required
• Required skills include: telemetry monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line blood draw, PICC line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, cardiac drip management, continuous bladder irrigation, wound care, and use of rapid response/code teams
