<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM<br>• Manager will create schedule based on unit needs<br>• Every other weekend requirement with 2 out of 3 major holidays or as needed<br>• Must float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU<br>• Navy blue scrubs required<br>• 2 years recent ICU experience required<br>• Must live outside 50-mile radius and not be employed with any CommonSpirit facilities<br>• Driver&#39;s license required at submittal<br>• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination<br>• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score or face termination<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS<br>• Work in 34-bed Med Surg ICU with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1-2<br>• Care for adults and pediatrics over 15 years old with conditions including neuro surgery, respiratory failure, ARDS, sepsis, stroke, renal failure, and various surgical cases<br>• Titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmic drips<br>• Read and interpret telemetry strips using Draeger monitoring system<br>• Work with various equipment including ventilators, CVPs, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, and hypothermia protocols<br>• Use EPIC charting system<br>• 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility serves as the primary tertiary hospital for the region, featuring a fast-paced 34-bed Medical Surgical ICU environment.
