*CHS Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / Emergency Dept - NIGHTS

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ED</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• 3x12 hour schedule (36 hours per week)<br>• Must start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance<br>• 2 years of nursing experience required<br>• Cerner EMR experience required<br>• Must be willing to float to other departments<br>• Charge nurse experience preferred (additional $3/hour)<br>• Black scrubs required for dress code<br>• NIH certification recommended but not required<br>• Provide emergency room patient care utilizing the Nursing Process<br>• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care<br>• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education<br>• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience<br>• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel<br>• Work in 38-bed emergency department<br>• Support Trauma Level III, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving services</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 38-bed emergency department that serves as a Trauma Level III certified center.
