Registered Nurse - ICU @ MUSC Health Kershaw Medical Center

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 (occasionally 1:3)
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call required at least 2 shifts per 6 weeks
• May float to other units within the Midlands Division
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 2-3 patients required
• South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certification: CCRN
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 10-bed low to moderate acuity ICU
• Manage medical, surgical, and cardiac patient populations
• Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, IV insulin protocols, and titrating vasoactive drips
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start
