RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed
• Float required between all Cone Health campuses if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:6 (occasionally 1:7 on rotating basis)
• Minimum 1 year experience required - NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS
• Acute Care Rehab experience preferred
• Must have previous travel experience
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam (Pass/Fail) with 2 attempts allowed
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility
• Perform medication reconciliation, vital signs, dressing changes, phlebotomy, and telephone triage
• Set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays and interpret laboratory results
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Daily census of 39 patients with 49 beds available
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
